Abstract Christopher Alexander is a controversial architect who believes that those who build physical spaces must address the question of human feeling. When combined with some ideas on metamedia literacy, there are implications in his work for the building of social online spaces such as Inside-a-Dog, a new site being developed by the State Library of Victoria for young readers.
