Abstract In this paper a new class of continuous control structure is proposed for arbitrary order systems. The control is robust against disturbances and model uncertainties. The convergence condition is proved with the help of homogeneous Lyapunov function for second order systems. The proposed method is validated in simulation in presence of disturbances. The main advantages of this proposed control structure are its simple structure and less chattering.
