Abstract Velocity and pressure fields were mapped in a 1/100th scale wind-tunnel test around a nominally cuboid model of a full-size building. Fine-scale spatial measurements were made in areas around the upstream face and in the separated region over the top for the case of flow orthogonal to the front face and for the case of 45 degrees. Dynamically calibrated probes enabled time-varying 3-D velocity and static pressure fields to be measured at up to 2000Hz. Outdoor measurements generally compared well with model scale.
