Abstract/Summary This research project explores perceptions of alcohol use and/or misuse and public safety in and around the Ozone precinct of Westfield Knox Shopping Centre in outer eastern Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The research aimed to contribute to the development of a strategy for reducing the effects of alcohol related harm and the effects of anti-social behaviour in this area, specifically via the redevelopment of the Knox Liquor Licensing Accord (see Knox City Council, 2014).
