Abstract The structural and optical properties of molybdenum-tungsten mixed oxide thin films deposited by sol gel technique were studied by transmission electron microscopy. In order to correlate the thin film structure and optical properties, the optical measurements were performed in 200-800 nm wavelength range. The reflectivity of the thin films was measured by using an integrating sphere.
