Abstract The Nd-Mn exchange interaction in Nd0.7Sr0.3MnO3 is considered by studying its influence on the 55Mn spin-echo NMR lineshape and spin-spin relaxation time. It is seen that the interaction is of considerable strength well above the Nd spin ordering temperature (?20 K), with a significant influence on the Mn (electron) spin dynamics.
