Abstract There has been a considerable debate on the effect of carbon tax on the Australian contruction sector. Recent industry reports have already indicated that the practitioners dislike carbon tax and merely believe that the tax would be revenue neutral. However, stories from some countries showed that the introduction of the carbon tax may not be as disastrous to the sector.
